Orcadian Sunset

I might have to describe this landscape shot to you... I needed something to make that sunset look great.

So working down we have the open sky,

then the setting sun is peeping between a gap in the layers of the cloud at the back... Being out of focus, the sun is larger than the whole and the blurred clouds have filled in this whole...

Down another layer to the silvery layer, well this is water, specifically Loch of Harray.

Down to the darker bottom we have the foreground vegetation from which this seed head was isolated.

The seed head is from the wild angelica (Angelica archangelica) which is found throughout the Orkney Islands.
