Bens, Glens and Lochs

Christmas Day 2005 and its Loch Dochard again, on route to Glen Kinglass. It's just over 2 hours from the nearest road, which is single track leading from Bridge of Orchy at the base of Rannoch Moor, and if you are like me, it is closer to 3 hours by the time you have stopped numerous times to take photographs!

The photo was taken using a polarising filter, hence the darker blue effect in the middle of the picture, but please remember you are looking at an almost 180degree panorama here, and this is exactly how a polarising filter works (at certain angles to the sun). In hindsight, maybe I would have been better off without the filter, but everything was saying use it...
